Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in New Mexico. This 80-day assignment, starting on 06/02/2025, offers a flexible schedule with the potential for extension. The provider will work Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This role involves traveling to three different locations, with the option to accommodate if the provider prefers not to travel to one of the locations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a range of pediatric dental procedures and preventative care.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive pediatric dental procedures, including:
- Pulpotomies and Pulpectomies
- Stainless steel crowns
- Cavity treatments
- Gum disease management
- Preventative care
- Dental crowns
- Oral exams
- Fluoride treatments
• Provide high-quality dental care to pediatric patients
• Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for patient management
• Adapt to working in multiple clinic locations
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Additional Information:
• Nitrous Oxide permit preferred
• Must be licensed in New Mexico
• Comfortable with bread and butter pediatric dentistry
• Potential for assignment extension
