Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist for a 96-day locum tenens assignment at a Dental Clinic in Indiana. Starting 06/02/2025, this role requires expertise in general dentistry, with a focus on fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Thursday, managing both hygiene appointments and dental procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work as a solo provider, handling a variety of dental cases, with the potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform dental procedures including fillings, crowns, and bridges

• Conduct numerous extractions as a significant part of the practice

• Manage hygiene appointments and dental cleanings

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Utilize Dentrix dental practice management software

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to clinic protocols and best practices in dentistry

• Work independently as the primary dentist on-site

• Collaborate with staff for efficient patient flow

• Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene


Additional Information:

• Experience with anterior and premolar root canals is beneficial but not mandatory

• Comfort with a high volume of extractions is essential

• Ability to work efficiently in a solo provider setting

• Flexibility to adapt to varying daily schedules

• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
