We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota, starting 06/16/2025. This opportunity involves working at a dental clinic, providing comprehensive dental care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a range of dental procedures including tooth extractions, 3-unit dental bridges, occasional root canals, dentures, crowns, fillings, and hygiene checks. This role utilizes the Dentrix practice management system and offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning

• Conduct tooth extractions as the primary oral surgery procedure

• Create and place 3-unit dental bridges

• Perform root canal treatments as needed

• Fabricate and fit dentures for patients

• Prepare and place dental crowns and fillings

• Conduct hygiene checks and provide preventive care

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists for efficient patient care

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

• Stay updated on current dental practices and technologies

Additional Information:
