Dentist - CA

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 27-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting 06/03/2025. This opportunity involves working three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm over a period of nine weeks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing exams, composites, and same-day crowns. The role requires efficient completion of procedures and detailed reporting on patient cases. This position utilizes the Dentrix practice management system.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations

• Complete composite fillings and same-day crowns

• Review EMR at the start of each day for an overview of scheduled cases

• Efficiently manage and complete all scheduled procedures

• Provide detailed reports on each patient's treatment and outcomes

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Dentrix software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure quality patient care

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

• Manage patient flow and appointments effectively

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Additional Information:

• California dental license required

• Comfort with exams, composites, and same-day crowns essential

• Extractions and root canals will be referred to other providers

• Assignment dates: 6/3-6/5, 6/10-6/12, 6/17-6/19, 6/24-6/26, 7/1-7/3, 7/8-7/10, 7/15-7/17, 7/22-7/24, 7/29-7/31
