We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens opportunity in a dental clinic in New York. This 48-day assignment, starting on 05/19/2025, offers a full-time schedule Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, including crowns, dentures, composite fillings, and extractions (both simple and complex, if comfortable). This position requires a strong background in general dentistry and the ability to perform a wide range of procedures. The provider will be using the Dentrix practice management system. This assignment offers the potential for extension beyond the initial period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform general dentistry procedures
• Prepare and place dental crowns
• Provide denture services
• Conduct composite fillings
• Perform simple extractions
• Carry out complex extractions (if comfortable)
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix system
• Ensure patient satisfaction and high-quality care
• Adhere to clinic policies and procedures
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members
• Stay updated on current dental practices and techniques
• Clearly communicate treatment plans and options to patients
• Manage patient flow efficiently
