Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 64-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin, starting 06/09/2025. This opportunity requires coverage Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a full scope of general dentistry procedures, including hygiene checks, fillings, exams, basic restorative work, crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, implant restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. This position offers the chance to work in a dental practice setting using Dentrix software, with a possibility for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop treatment plans

• Conduct hygiene checks and provide patient education on oral health

• Carry out a full range of general dentistry procedures

• Perform basic restorative work, including fillings and crowns

• Fabricate and fit bridges, dentures, and partial dentures

• Restore dental implants as needed

• Offer cosmetic dentistry services

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and practice management

• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff members

• Adhere to all practice policies and procedures

• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members

• Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and best practices


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Wisconsin

• Experience in full-scope general dentistry required

• Proficiency in implant restoration and cosmetic procedures preferred

• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfort with dental practice management software
