Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Maine. This role requires a positive and dynamic professional to serve as the primary dentist, supported by an efficient team consisting of two hygienists and two dental assistants. The assignment is set to start on Jun 2, 2025, and is ideal for a practitioner aiming to leverage their expertise in a supportive and structured environment.


Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed: Dentist
  • Schedule: 2 days per week, one of which must be Wednesday, with the other day flexible between Monday and Thursday. Shift hours are from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the primary care provider for dental patients.
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop detailed treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all treatments meet the highest standards of care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and manage scheduling to maximize efficient use of resources.
