Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position at a Dental Clinic in Illinois. This 14-day assignment begins on 06/09/2025, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with daily huddles starting at 7:30 AM and shifts ending at 5:00 PM. The dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care, utilizing Dentrix software for patient management, and collaborating with the clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures

• Participate in daily morning huddles at 7:30 AM

• Conduct patient examinations and develop treatment plans

• Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping

• Maintain a high standard of patient care and satisfaction

• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
