Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a unique locum tenens position in Florida through Barton Associates. This 80-day assignment begins on July 21, 2025, initially covering Monday to Wednesday, with the potential to expand to full-time (Monday to Friday). The ideal candidate will work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, traveling between retirement communities to provide comprehensive dental care. This role requires expertise in various procedures, including extractions, dentures, partials, scalings, fillings, and crown & bridge work. The dentist must be comfortable performing multiple procedures on the same patient. Proficiency with Eaglesoft software is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive dental care in a mobile setting, traveling between retirement communities
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including extractions, dentures, partials, scalings, fillings, and crown & bridge work
• Conduct thorough oral examinations and develop treatment plans
• Manage multiple procedures on the same patient in a single visit
• Operate efficiently in a two-chair setup
• Maintain a high level of productivity
• Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Adapt to working in various retirement community settings
• Collaborate effectively with the dental assistant who will be driving between locations
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Florida
• Experience in geriatric dentistry is highly beneficial
• Comfortable with "one-stop shop" dentistry, handling all procedures without referrals
• Excellent time management and efficiency skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with elderly patients
• Flexibility to adapt to different work environments daily
