Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position in North Carolina through Barton Associates. This 48-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, and requires expertise in General Dentistry, Restorative, and Cosmetic procedures. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at a Dental Clinic. The dentist will handle various treatments, including gum disease management, oral cancer screenings, root canal therapy, tooth extractions, dental implants, and full mouth reconstructions. Proficiency with Dentimax software is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures

• Perform gum disease treatments and oral cancer screenings

• Conduct root canal therapy and tooth extractions

• Place dental implants and complete full mouth reconstructions

• Manage 5-6 cases per day

• Utilize Dentimax software for patient records and treatment planning

• Maintain a high standard of patient care and satisfaction

• Collaborate with dental clinic staff to ensure efficient operations

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
