Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Dentist for a 9-day locum tenens opportunity in Indiana. This assignment, starting on 08/20/2025, requires a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive dental care at a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general dentistry procedures, including crowns, extractions, abscess tooth removal, fillings, bonding, and handling dental emergencies. The position involves working with pediatric and non-cooperative dental cases, performing oral examinations, diagnosing and treating various mouth and teeth conditions, and educating patients on home care. The schedule is full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from August 20 to September 3, 2025. This role requires an active Indiana dental license and proficiency in ECW (eClinicalWorks).

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform general dentistry procedures (crowns, extractions, fillings, bonding)

• Handle dental emergencies and abscess tooth removal

• Manage pediatric and non-cooperative dental cases

• Conduct oral examinations and assessments

• Diagnose and treat mouth and teeth conditions

• Educate patients on home treatment and oral hygiene

• Ensure continuity of care management

• Collaborate effectively with the dental team

• Review X-rays and patient charts

• Refer patients for oral surgery as needed

• Utilize ECW (eClinicalWorks) for patient management
