Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting as soon as possible until Aug 7, 2025. This role requires the dentist to perform a broad range of general dentistry procedures from Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm, with a focus on pediatric dental care. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Dentrix EMR system and comfortable with a variety of dental procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct general dentistry procedures including crowns, fillings, bridges, simple and complicated extractions, dentures, and root canals
  • Perform pediatric dental procedures such as stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, and space maintainers
  • Refer out surgical extractions as necessary
  • Ensure all procedures are carried out with high standards of quality and care
  • Utilize Dentrix EMR system for documenting and managing patient information

Additional Information
  • Must be enrolled with Dentaquest and FL Medicaid
  • Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Medicaid Certification, Nitrous Oxide Certification
