Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist for a six-month locum tenens assignment in California starting Jul 28, 2025. The role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing comprehensive dental care in a community health setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform dental procedures including fillings, simple and surgical extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventative dental care such as exams, prophylaxis, sealants, and space maintainers
- Offer periodontal services including scaling and root planning
- Conduct crown and bridge work, along with removable prosthodontics like partial and full dentures
- Handle emergency dental evaluations and treatments
- Serve a diverse patient base including both children and adults
- Utilize the Epic (Wisdom HER) electronic medical record system to maintain accurate patient records
- Deliver four-handed dentistry techniques and adhere to the standards of Denti-Cal
Additional Information
- Must possess a California Dental License
- Required certifications: DEA, CPR, and NPI number
- Proficiency in using Epic for electronic health records is ideal
- Capable of handling a balanced patient demographic of children and adults
