Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting on Jul 21, 2025. This role requires managing multiple dental procedures, including hygiene checks, fillings, crowns, and bridges across several operatories. The schedule includes day shifts from Monday to Thursday.

  • Tuesday: 9am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm
  • Wednesday: 8am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm
  • Thursday: 8am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct 2 hygiene checks per hour, typically lasting 3-5 minutes each.
  • Perform dental procedures in 3 different operatories, focusing on triaging fillings, crowns, and bridges.
  • Utilize Dentrix to manage patient information and workflow.
  • Work closely with dental assistants to assist in milling and bonding procedures during crown installations.
  • Manage and rotate tasks effectively across multiple rooms to maintain workflow efficiency.

Additional Information
  • Required Certification: Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
  • Must be licensed to practice in Kentucky.
  • Ideal candidates will have excellent bedside manners and the ability to work well with staff.
  • Experience with locator dentures and partial implants is highly advantageous.
  • Must provide multiple references upon request.
