Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist for a 25-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma, beginning on Aug 4, 2025. This role involves a 4-day work week with shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, alternating between Monday to Thursday and Tuesday to Friday. The first week includes an orientation day. The dentist will mainly handle restorations, simple and surgical extractions, exams, and digital x-rays, with support for complex cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform dental restorations using amalgam and composite materials
  • Conduct both simple and surgical extractions, depending on comfort level
  • Provide comprehensive dental exams and digital x-rays
  • Refer complex extraction cases and molar endodontics to specialists as needed
  • Instruct patients on the contact points for dentures and partials handled by external providers

Additional Information
  • Recent experience in similar settings preferred; IHS experience a plus but not required
  • Utilization of the RPMS EMR system
