Job Description
We are seeking a Dentist for a 52-week locum tenens assignment in Arizona starting Aug 4, 2025. This role offers a schedule of 4x 10-hour shifts or 5x 8-hour shifts per week, focusing on general dentistry practices including emergency treatments and comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall dental care responsibility for the management of dental services to each patient.
- Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and dental treatment, including emergency treatments such as oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy.
- Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Evaluate patients returning from offsite dental visits.
- Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff.
- Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seen.
- Supervise and coach dental assistants.
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment.
Additional Information
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Licensed to practice in Arizona.
