Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall dental care responsibility for patient management
- Conduct dental assessments, radiographic exams, and provide treatment
- Perform oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for effective patient outcomes
- Supervise and coach dental assistants in clinical settings
- Ensure equipment sterilization and proper hygiene practices
- Participate in the training and orientation of new healthcare staff
- Provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Additional Information
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Drug Enforcement Administration license
- Proficiency in exodontia is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be licensed to practice in Arizona
