We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens position at a state-of-the-art military base dental clinic in Maryland. This 20-day assignment, starting on 07/21/2025, requires expertise in general dentistry with a strong emphasis on root canal procedures. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for five days a week based on productivity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of dental procedures, including new patient exams, extractions, fillings, crown and bridge work, implant restoration, emergency care, surgical extractions, endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental care, including root canals, which are a must for this position

• Conduct new patient exams and provide emergency care

• Carry out various dental procedures such as extractions, fillings, crown and bridge work

• Perform implant restorations and surgical extractions

• Provide endodontic, oral surgery, and periodontic treatments

• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and tools provided by the facility

• Maintain high compliance standards in line with military dental care requirements

• Adapt to a flexible schedule based on provider preference and clinic needs

Additional Information:

• Active Maryland dental license required

• Experience with Denticon software preferred

• Comfortable treating patients of various ages in a military setting

• Ability to outline specific cases you will and will not perform
