We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri, starting Sep 2, 2025. This role involves both in-office and school-based dental care, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday work. Responsibilities and Duties
- Start the day in-office from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM for initial patient consultations and treatments.
- Travel to local schools starting at 9:00 AM, utilizing a company-provided van, to set up temporary dental operations until 2:30 PM.
- Complete the day with follow-up treatments and administrative tasks back at the office from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Perform primary extractions at schools and manage more complex cases, including secondary extractions, at the office.
- Utilize portable digital and x-ray equipment for on-site diagnostics and treatments.
- Refer out for specialized procedures such as oral surgery.
Additional Information
- Must be comfortable working with children and have experience in pediatric dentistry.
- Requires current DMD licensure in Missouri.
- Proficiency with Dentrix EMR system.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with significant support from dental assistants.
