Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for a 16-week locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity starts on Aug 18, 2025, and involves comprehensive dental care to a pediatric patient base. Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm. The role requires expertise in a range of procedures from fillings and root canals to complex pediatric treatments such as pulpotomies and stainless steel crowns.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform general dentistry services, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
  • Treat primary and secondary teeth and construct and place bridges, dentures, and obturating appliances suitable for growing arches.
  • Manage dental emergencies, including the management of diseases and injuries of the oral cavity.
  • Provide preventive dental services and education in oral and dental hygiene.


Additional Information

  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Nitrous Oxide Certification
  • Must be licensed to practice in Oregon
  • Proficiency with Dentrix EMR system
  • Experience with pediatric dentistry preferred
