We are seeking a skilled Dentist specialized in general dentistry for a locum tenens role in Maine. This 60-day assignment begins on Sep 11, 2025, with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7am-5pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. The successful candidate will join a high-producing office, engaging in duties that range from general dentistry practices to restorative procedures, including implants and aligners.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
- Perform general and restorative dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and possibly aligners
- Collaborate with a periodontist available on Tuesdays for specialized patient care
- Utilize Dentrix for management of patient records and treatment planning
- Ensure coordination of patient care with in-house periodontist and other dental staff
- Maintain adherence to all office and safety protocols
Additional Information
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Must be licensed to practice in Maine
- Experience with implant restoration and aligner treatments is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
