Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Arizona beginning Sep 2, 2025. This opportunity offers 3 days per week with 11-hour shifts and may extend long-term if both parties are satisfied. The role will initially cover specific dates in early September, followed by ongoing weekly coverage. Candidates should be comfortable practicing with full autonomy and experienced in treating Medicaid patients.

  • Schedule: 3 days/week, 9am - 8pm (11-hour shifts); initial dates Sep 2-4 and Sep 8-10; ongoing 3 days/week with 1-2 Saturdays per month

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Deliver routine and restorative dental procedures in alignment with best practices
  • Maintain accurate records using Dentrix dental software
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to support patient care and workflow
  • Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Arizona
  • Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) certification required
  • Experience treating Medicaid patients preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule
  • Proficiency with Dentrix software
