Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 48-day locum tenens opportunity with our client in Oregon. This assignment begins on Mar 23, 2026, and features a Monday through Thursday schedule, with morning huddles at 7:30 AM and patient care from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide a broad range of in-house dental procedures and support the clinic's commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform a full scope of general dentistry procedures, keeping most cases in-house
  • Conduct root canals (excluding retreatments)
  • Complete wisdom tooth extractions, referring out only the most complicated cases
  • Place single dental implants
  • Provide restorative care including fillings, crowns, and dentures
  • Support the expansion of in-house denture production utilizing a 3D printer
  • Conduct hygiene checks and collaborate with dental hygienists
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Oregon dental license
  • Strong clinical proficiency in general dentistry procedures required
  • Experience with Dentrix preferred
