Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 160-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri starting Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am to 4pm, working closely with two full-time dental assistants to provide care for children both in-office and at local schools.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide dental care for pediatric patients in both clinic and school settings
- Work collaboratively with two full-time dental assistants
- Begin each day in clinic from 7:30am to 9am, then travel to local schools with dental assistants and equipment
- Set up and deliver dental services at schools from 9am to 2:30pm, returning to the clinic to finish the day until 4pm
- Perform primary extractions at schools and secondary extractions in the clinic
- Refer patients for oral surgery as needed
- Utilize portable and digital x-ray equipment on school visits
- Administer local anesthesia when appropriate in school settings, with follow-up in clinic for anxious patients
- Travel between office and schools in a company-provided van with equipment
- Rotate to different schools for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Missouri
- Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) certification required
- Experience and comfort working with children is essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
