Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role features a Monday 9am-6pm and Tuesday through Thursday 8am-5pm schedule. The assignment focuses on providing excellent dental care while supporting organizational goals in case acceptance, periodontal diagnosis, and new patient comprehensive exams. Proficiency with Dentrix is required, and candidates should be dedicated to delivering quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
  • Recommend and deliver treatment plans to achieve case acceptance goals
  • Perform periodontal assessments with a focus on achieving organizational targets
  • Conduct routine dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, and restorative treatments
  • Complete new patient exams, including FMX, following clinic protocols
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with office managers and participate in coaching as needed to meet production objectives


Additional Information

  • Active Illinois dental license required
  • Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications
  • Background in DDS/DMD required
  • Experience with Dentrix preferred
