Shreveport, LA 71115
Assignment Details
- Ongoing need for a DDS on Fridays (potentially through the end of the year).
- Previous provider was asked to stay on through December but had another assignment.
Schedule
- Fridays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
Patient Volume
- Approx. 15 hygiene patients per day
- Approx. 12 restorative patients per day
- Staff includes 2 full-time hygienists and 2 full-time dental assistants
Patient Demographics
- Primarily young adults (ages 18–25), with a full range from 15–99 years old
Clinical Scope
- Bread and butter dentistry:
- Dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
- Fluoride treatments
- Fillings (composite resin)
- Sealants
- Extractions (basic required; complex/wisdom teeth preferred)
- Stainless steel crowns (pediatric cases)
- Root canals – preferred but not required
Qualifications
- DDS with a positive, team-oriented approach and strong patient rapport
- Medicaid certification preferred (not required)
