Job Description
We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and spans a 208-day contract, working Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. The Pediatric Dentist will work alongside two dental assistants, focusing exclusively on pediatric cases without root canals. Candidates must hold a current Illinois dental license and possess DEA and PALS certifications prior to start.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide dental care to pediatric patients, with a focus on preventive and restorative treatments
- Manage and treat pediatric dental cases as specified; no root canal procedures required
- Supervise and collaborate with two dental assistants during patient care
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in pediatric dentistry
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Uphold all regulatory and compliance standards for pediatric dental practice
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Illinois dental license; licensure must be current prior to assignment start
- DEA and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Priority given to candidates who are board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Dentistry
