Job Description

We are seeking a General Dentist for a 54-day locum tenens assignment with our client in California. This opportunity starts on Oct 6, 2025, and offers a Monday through Thursday schedule with varied daytime hours. The ideal candidate should be comfortable treating patients of all ages and must have experience with Delta Dental, as the majority of the patient base utilizes this insurance. Familiarity with Dentrix is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the sole dentist in a well-established practice
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages
  • Perform exams, diagnoses, and routine dental procedures
  • Meet daily production goals as established by the practice
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient documentation and treatment planning
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable dental regulations and standards
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed to practice dentistry in California
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required (level 2-5)
  • Experience with Delta Dental is essential
