Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Dentist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona starting Oct 13, 2025. This opportunity features 10-hour day shifts, scheduled Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. Experience with exodontia and high-volume clinics is preferred but not required. The assignment involves comprehensive general dentistry services in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall dental care responsibility for patient management
- Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and comprehensive treatment including emergency procedures such as oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy
- Formulate diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens
- Evaluate patients returning from offsite dental visits
- Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
- Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to patients
- Supervise and coach dental assistants
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
- Active Arizona dental license required
- Certifications needed: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Experience with TechCare EMR is a plus
- Preference for candidates experienced in exodontia and high-volume settings
