We are seeking a General Dentist for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting on Oct 27, 2025. This solo role offers full autonomy in the office, with a schedule of Monday to Wednesday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Proficiency with Dentrix and experience managing Delta Dental patients are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the solo dentist, overseeing all aspects of dental care and office operations
- Provide comprehensive treatment planning and scaling
- Perform root planning and treat periodontal disease
- Manage a patient base that is predominantly Delta Dental (90 percent)
- Exercise full decision-making authority and control over scheduling
- Utilize Dentrix for patient records and workflow management
Additional Information
- Must have an active California dental license
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
- Experience with Delta Dental is mandatory, as the majority of patients are covered by this plan
