Job Description

We are seeking a General Dentist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Virginia, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role features a flexible schedule with the option of a 4-day work week, with typical hours Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM. The assignment focuses on comprehensive dental procedures, including restorative care, extractions, crowns, dentures, and hygiene, while offering the ability to refer out complex anterior endodontics and implant placements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Restore implants and perform fillings, dentures, extractions, and crowns
  • Provide hygiene and preventive dental care
  • Refer limited pediatric cases, no implant placements, and complex anterior endodontic cases as appropriate
  • Deliver high-quality dental care in accordance with best practices and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
