Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, beginning Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity involves 4 shifts each week, typically 8am to 5pm with a rotating day off, and provides coverage while other providers are on vacation. Candidates should have solid pediatric dentistry experience and be comfortable filling in across multiple offices. Experience with Dentrix is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including examinations, preventive treatments, and restorative procedures
  • Deliver dental services to pediatric patients in accordance with clinical best practices
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for children and their families
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and treatment planning
  • Adapt to varying office locations within the assignment as needed


Additional Information

  • Virginia dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Board certification in pediatric dentistry not required
  • Flexibility in schedule; days of the week can be adjusted based on availability
