Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Washington starting Nov 7, 2025. This 2-week opportunity features Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and focuses on pediatric cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of pediatric experience and is comfortable with nitrous and oral sedation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage patient load and provide same-day dental treatments
  • Deliver care to pediatric patients
  • Utilize nitrous and, preferably, oral sedation when indicated
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Dentrix
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements
  • Adhere to all professional and clinical standards


Additional Information

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric dental cases required
  • Must hold an active Washington dental license
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Medicaid Certification, and Nitrous Oxide Certification required; Oral Sedation Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Dentrix EMR is required
