Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist specializing in General Dentistry for an 8-week locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity starts on Dec 22, 2025, and features day shifts, Monday through Wednesday, focusing on bread and butter dentistry, hygiene exams, and emergency care. The patient base is predominantly adults with some children as young as age 7. Dentrix is used for EMR documentation.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dec 22-24 and Dec 29-31 (Monday-Wednesday, 8:30am-4:30pm)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive general dental care, including exams, diagnoses, and routine treatments
  • Provide bread and butter dentistry services, including hygiene exams and emergency dental care
  • Treat a majority adult patient base (90%) and pediatric patients starting from age 7 (10%)
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans using Dentrix EMR
  • Collaborate with hygienists and other dental staff to ensure quality care

Additional Information
  • Active Florida dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Experience with adult and pediatric patients preferred
  • Strong communication and clinical skills needed
