We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for an 8-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Alabama. This short-term opportunity begins on Jan 7, 2026, offering day shifts from 7:45am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a dedicated lunch break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Candidates should be skilled in comprehensive general dentistry and comfortable utilizing Dentrix dental software to manage patient care efficiently throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
- Deliver a full scope of general dentistry procedures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices
- Maintain accurate dental records using Dentrix software
- Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and support staff
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Additional Information
- Active Alabama dental license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
- Previous experience with Dentrix EMR preferred
