Job Description

We are seeking a Dentist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Dec 8, 2025, with 10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Thursday. This opportunity is ideal for those with a passion for supporting dental hygiene teams and mentoring residents in a clinic setting, with no direct patient care required.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support the dental hygiene team with clinical questions and guidance
  • Provide mentoring and teaching support to dental residents and students (AEGD and DMD/dental hygiene rotations)
  • Collaborate with three current residents to enhance their learning experience
  • Assist where needed within the clinical team, without direct patient assignments

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of dental experience required
  • Pediatric or special needs experience preferred but not required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must hold a valid Kentucky dental license
  • Clinic will be closed the week of Dec 26; start date can be flexible after Jan 3 if needed
  • Credentialing process estimated at 2 weeks
