Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a flexible 4x10 schedule with shifts from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. The ideal candidate is proficient in exodontia and comfortable working in high-volume clinic settings, with required certifications including BLS, CPR, and DEA.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall dental care responsibility for management of dental services to each patient
- Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and dental treatments, including emergency oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistry
- Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
- Evaluate patients returning from offsite dental visits
- Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
- Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to patients
- Supervise and coach dental assistants
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
- Preference for candidates experienced in exodontia and high-volume clinic environments
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Familiarity with TechCare EMR is beneficial
