We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 48-day locum tenens opportunity in Tennessee starting Jan 5, 2026. This assignment offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., focusing on comprehensive dental care including extractions and patient-centered treatment planning.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental exams and screenings in both clinic and outreach settings
- Administer appropriate pre- and post-procedural medication
- Complete recommended dental procedures and provide necessary post-procedural instructions
- Provide referrals as needed to support comprehensive patient care
- Ensure all patients are treated and properly dismissed, occasionally requiring work beyond scheduled hours
- Discuss comprehensive treatment plans with patients in accordance with departmental guidelines
- Assist auxiliary staff, including dental assistants, with various tasks
- Participate in the evaluation of students and auxiliary staff as required
