Job Description

We are seeking a Prosthodontist with extensive experience in full-service implants for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This opportunity starts on Jan 5, 2026, and involves scheduled surgical procedures two days per week, with shifts beginning at 6:30am for prep and varying end times between 1pm and 3pm. The role focuses exclusively on implant procedures, including extraction, bone preparation, and implant placement, with an average of 2–4 arches per day.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform scheduled surgical implant procedures, including extraction, bone preparation, and implant placement
  • Manage full mouth rehabilitation cases as required
  • Provide follow-up care for implant patients
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
  • Utilize conscious sedation where appropriate

Additional Information
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school required
  • Active dental license and DEA registration in Maryland
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Completion of AEGD or GPR training, or significant experience in full mouth rehabilitation
  • Conscious Sedation certification and board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery required
