We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 39-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Connecticut, starting Dec 17, 2025. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule with varied hours and involves providing general dentistry services. Proficiency with Dentrix is required, and the dentist should be comfortable delivering high-quality care in a dynamic setting.

  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm, Friday 9am-2pm; additional dates include Dec 17, Dec 23, and Dec 31 (half day 8:30am-1pm). Starting Jan 5, Monday-Friday coverage needed.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver routine dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
  • Restore teeth using crowns, bridges, and dentures as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and hygienists
  • Maintain compliance with all clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Valid Connecticut dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Demonstrated experience in general dentistry
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
