Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment with our client in New York, beginning Dec 22, 2025. This role features a weekday schedule with variable hours, including extended and early shifts. The ideal candidate will perform a range of dental procedures, with an emphasis on extractions and comprehensive care.

Job Details

  • Schedule:
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm
  • Christmas Eve: 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • Assignment dates: Dec 22, 2025 – Dec 24, 2025

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform surgical and simple extractions, including full mouth extractions as needed
  • Complete denture steps and provide prosthodontic care
  • Conduct crown and bridge procedures
  • Manage molar endodontics
  • Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and documentation
  • Note any procedural limitations prior to assignment

Additional Information
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry required
  • Must hold current Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) and DEA certification
  • Active New York dental license required
  • Prior experience with similar practice settings preferred
