Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment with our client in New York, beginning Dec 22, 2025. This role features a weekday schedule with variable hours, including extended and early shifts. The ideal candidate will perform a range of dental procedures, with an emphasis on extractions and comprehensive care.

- Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm
- Christmas Eve: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- Assignment dates: Dec 22, 2025 – Dec 24, 2025
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical and simple extractions, including full mouth extractions as needed
- Complete denture steps and provide prosthodontic care
- Conduct crown and bridge procedures
- Manage molar endodontics
- Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans
- Ensure high standards of patient care and documentation
- Note any procedural limitations prior to assignment
Additional Information
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry required
- Must hold current Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) and DEA certification
- Active New York dental license required
- Prior experience with similar practice settings preferred
