Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in California beginning Dec 22, 2025. This position features a focused weekday schedule: Monday and Tuesday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Wednesday from 7 am to 1 pm. The dentist will provide a full range of general dentistry services, with an emphasis on comprehensive treatment planning, extractions, and denture steps. Prior experience with Aspen is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform surgical, simple, and full-mouth extractions
  • Complete denture steps and comprehensive treatment planning
  • Deliver general dentistry care to diverse patients
  • Ensure proper documentation and patient recordkeeping
  • Notate any procedural limitations if applicable
  • Adhere to clinic protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

  • Must have a valid California dental license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
  • Previous experience with Aspen is required
  • Minimum 1 year of general dentistry experience
