Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment with our client in Georgia, starting Dec 22, 2025. This opportunity features a varied schedule that includes Monday and Friday day shifts, with adjusted hours on select holiday dates. The assignment requires strong proficiency in extractions and dentures, making it ideal for a dentist comfortable with comprehensive treatment planning and a range of surgical procedures.

  • Schedule: Mon 8am-6pm, Dec 24 7am-1pm, Dec 31 7am-3:30pm, Fri 8am-1pm; scheduled dates include Dec 22, 24, 29, 31, Jan 2, 5

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform surgical extractions, including simple, surgical, and full mouth procedures
  • Complete all steps related to denture fabrication and fitting
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients
  • Notate any limitations in presenting extraction cases
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety requirements

Additional Information
  • Must have an active Georgia dental license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
