Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Dec 30, 2025, with flexibility to begin as late as Jan 5. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, in a state-of-the-art military base facility serving all ages. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as the sole dentist and must be proficient in root canal procedures, with at least 2 years of experience in general and restorative dentistry.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform comprehensive general and restorative dental procedures
  • Complete root canal treatments (required)
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions in patients of all ages
  • Provide care as the sole dentist on-site
  • Utilize all modern dental equipment and request additional tools as needed
  • Deliver care to a patient population with a majority enrolled in United Concordia
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active dental license in Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Comfort with independent practice is essential
  • Experience with military populations is beneficial
