Job Description
We are seeking a General Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Jan 5, 2026, for a 50-day contract. This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule and involves providing comprehensive general dentistry services to patients of all ages, including children. Candidates should be comfortable working as the sole provider and adept at managing both scheduled and emergency cases in a rural health setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general dentistry services, including routine hygiene exams and extractions
- Manage 3-4 emergency dental cases each morning
- See 3-4 scheduled patients each afternoon
- Deliver care to patients of all ages, with a willingness to see children
- Refer uncooperative pediatric patients as appropriate
- Maintain patient records and treatment plans using Dentrix EMR
- Work independently as the sole dental provider
Additional Information

- Experience in tribal or rural health settings a plus
- Previous experience as a sole provider preferred
