I partner with a practice in El Paso, TX searching for a permanent General Dentist to join the team. This practice sits on the border of New Mexico and Texas. The parking lot is in Texas and the office is in New Mexico.
Position:
• Reason for need: Partner doc is filling in for the vacancy, want new doctor
• Anticipated start date: ASAP
• Current staff:
o Doctors: 1 partner doc (will leave when new doc is hired)
o Support Staff: at least 1 hygienist (didn’t specify)
• Schedule: Current Schedule M-F: 9-4
• Patients per day:
• Types for Procedures: Bread & butter dentistry – currently referring out braces, in house aligners
• Patient age range: all ages – most adults
• Technologies: CT & Digital Scanners, iTero, Electric-Handpiece, Rotary Endo
• Clinic production: ~$700,000/year
• Payor make-up: (Private insurance, FFS, Medicaid, etc..): PPO & cash pay, Medicaid (about 30%)
Offering:
• Daily Guarantee/% of production or collection: Will do either; $15-20k/month base, or 30% of production minus lab fees – all doctors are 1099
• Earning Potential: clinic currently doing ~$700k/year
• Equity or Partnership: Is this available? If so, what does this look like? Looking for a doctor that wants partnership. 7 of the 14 current docs are partners with more pending (80% partnership rate)
