Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Jan 6, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts Monday through Thursday, with a focus on extractions, dentures, and comprehensive treatment planning. Qualified candidates must be able to perform surgical extractions and manage various restorative and prosthodontic procedures in a dynamic setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 9am-6pm; scheduled dates: Jan 6-8, 12-15, 19-22, 26-29

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform surgical, simple, and full mouth extractions
  • Complete denture steps and prosthodontic procedures
  • Provide crown and bridge restorations
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
  • Notate any procedural limitations as required
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered dental care

Additional Information
  • Active California dental license required
  • Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in general dentistry
  • Must be comfortable with extractions and denture procedures
