Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist for a 78-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity offers a collaborative work environment with a schedule of full days on Monday and Wednesday, and a half day on Friday. The Dentist will perform comprehensive dental evaluations and deliver high-quality care tailored to patient needs.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations including new, periodic, and problem-focused assessments
  • Diagnose dental conditions and present treatment options tailored to patient needs
  • Deliver high-quality dental care and treatments
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as necessary
  • Educate patients on restorative and preventative dental health practices
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment with team members
  • Uphold the practice’s mission and core values through professional conduct

Additional Information
  • Valid Louisiana Dental License required
  • DEA Registration required
  • 1-2 years of dental practice experience is preferred but not required
