We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Feb 23, 2026. This opportunity offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, with day shifts ranging from 9am-5pm and 9am-3pm. The dentist will provide general dentistry care and utilize Dentrix dental software in a clinical setting. Candidates must be licensed in New York and hold required certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA registration.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures and comprehensive oral examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Deliver routine dental care, including cleanings, fillings, and restorations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Dentrix software
- Adhere to clinic protocols and infection control standards
Additional Information
- Must be licensed to practice dentistry in New York
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Experience with IV sedation preferred
- Proficiency with Dentrix dental software
