Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia. This opportunity starts Jan 15, 2026, and requires coverage on Monday and Thursday with extended daily hours. The role focuses on comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on extractions, dentures, and treatment planning.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday 8am-6pm, Thursday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform surgical and simple extractions, including full mouth extractions as required
  • Complete denture procedures and steps as indicated
  • Conduct crown and bridge work
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients
  • Ensure all clinical documentation meets regulatory and client standards
  • Accurately notate and communicate any clinical limitations regarding extractions

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active dental license for Georgia
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Controlled Substances Registration (CSR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry, including extractions and dentures
